ASSASSIN IV VC VISION

DeepCool's flagship air cooler, the ASSASSIN IV VC VISION, has received a notable addition in the form of the ASSASSIN IV VC VISION. Cooling capacity has been increased nicely with the addition of an evaporator chamber at the base, which pushes the TDP to 300W. The upgrades don't stop there, as a high-end quad-segment digital display has also been added to the already impressive ASSASSIN IV cooler. 
 


 

Improved vapor chamber

The vapor chamber is a large, flat heat pipe that conducts heat well. In the ASSASSIN IV VC series, heat is extracted through the heat sink, which starts the cooling process in the planar heat pipe. The heat is equalized and sent up the heat pipe to be further cooled by the heat sink fins. This solution increases the cooling capacity to a stunning 300W TDP!
 


 

Digital Touch

A standout feature of the ASSASSIN IV VC VISION is the revamped quad-segment display that monitors CPU temperature, usage, wattage, and frequency. The digital panel is magnetized, so installation and tuning are very easy. The display is controlled via the DeepCool software and requires only an open USB 2.0 port.
 


 

Visual temperature alerts

The temperature warning system is integrated with a visual thermometer indicator with a colour code: below 80 °C the indicator remains green, between 80 °C and 90 °C the indicator turns bright orange, above 90 °C the indicator turns red and starts flashing.
 


 

Bottom flow

Since the 140mm fan is located deep in the heart of the ASSASSIN IV VC VISION, it creates less airflow, which helps cool the surrounding hot VRMs
