The HP Pro Tower 290 G9 PCI Desktop PC is a business desktop built around a 13th Generation Intel Core i7-13700 processor with 16 cores and 24 threads. This configuration combines 8 GB of DDR4-3200 memory, a 512 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD and integrated Intel UHD Graphics 770 in a traditional tower form factor.

This D79SLAT configuration is supplied with FreeDOS rather than Windows. A supported operating system and any required software licences must therefore match the intended deployment.

The system has two DIMM memory slots and is configured with one 8 GB DDR4-3200 module. It also provides one M.2 slot for WLAN and one M.2 2242/2280 slot for storage, together with PCI, PCIe x1 and PCIe x16 expansion slots.

The HP specification page lists more than one rear display-output arrangement for 13th Generation configurations. The product page therefore lists only the rear connections that are common to the applicable configurations and does not assign an additional DisplayPort or VGA connector to D79SLAT.
